Square POS, all-in-one for any business.

The ubiquitous cloud POS that just about anyone can learn in an afternoon. Retail, restaurants, services, and eCommerce — all on one platform with built-in payments. Available through Payment Gurus with dedicated reseller support.

About Square

The POS that just about anyone can use.

Square earned its place in the market by being the easiest POS to set up and use. Plug in the hardware, sign up online, and you're taking payments in minutes. No long onboarding, no menu-build consultation, no training week — just go.

That ease of use is what makes it the right fit for a huge range of businesses: cafes, food trucks, salons, pop-up shops, market vendors, professional services, small retail, and online sellers. The same platform handles eCommerce, in-person, invoicing, and mobile payments — all from one Square account.

It's not the deepest restaurant POS on the market (SpotOn and SkyTab beat it there). It's not the deepest retail inventory system (CRE and NRS beat it for specialty retail). But for general-purpose, get-running-fast operations, it's hard to beat.

When Square is the right fit

Square's sweet spot.

01 / Mobile & on-the-go

Food trucks, markets, pop-ups

Square Reader, Square Terminal, and the Square mobile app turn an iPhone or iPad into a full POS. Take payments anywhere there's a cell signal. Ideal for businesses without a fixed counter.

02 / Service businesses

Salons, spas, professional services

Built-in appointment booking, invoicing, recurring payments, and tip handling. Square for Appointments is one of the strongest service-business platforms on the market at this price point.

03 / Small & growing retail

Cafes, boutiques, gift shops

Easy product setup, barcode scanning, basic inventory, and built-in eCommerce site. Get a small retail operation running quickly without a major upfront investment.

Honest guidance

Square isn't for everyone.

We sell Square. We also believe in pointing merchants toward the right system for their business — even when that means a different one. Here's where Square isn't the best fit:

Full-service restaurants & bars

If you run a restaurant with tableside ordering, kitchen displays, reservations, or high-volume bar tabs, look at SkyTab or SpotOn first. They're purpose-built for hospitality with handhelds, online ordering, and loyalty included.

Convenience stores & specialty retail

C-stores, smoke shops, and liquor stores need age verification, EBT/SNAP, lottery integration, and tobacco rebate tracking. NRS POS is built specifically for that — Square isn't.

High-SKU retail or multi-store operations

Inventory-heavy stores (hardware, specialty, multi-vendor retail) need deep inventory features that Square's general-purpose system doesn't quite reach. Cash Register Express is usually a better fit for serious retail.

High-volume merchants who care about processing rates

Square's payment processing rates (~2.6% + 10¢ to 2.89% + 25¢ depending on plan) are designed for simplicity, not optimization. If you process more than $10K-$15K per month, you'll almost certainly save money on a system where we handle the processing directly. Talk to us — we'll quote interchange-plus rates and show you the real-dollar comparison.

Why through us

What we add to a Square deal.

Square is easy to sign up for directly on their website — and for the smallest businesses, that's often the right path. Where we add value:

Setup & onboarding support

We help configure your Square account, build out your item catalog, set up your tax rules, integrate any third-party tools (accounting, inventory, scheduling), and make sure your hardware is plug-and-play before launch.

Multi-location coordination

If you have or plan to have multiple locations, we handle the rollout — consistent settings, consolidated reporting, role-based permissions, and the small details that get missed when you're setting it up alone.

Honest "Square vs. alternatives" advice

If you're not sure whether Square is the right fit, we'll tell you honestly. Most merchants who reach out about Square end up either confirming it's right for them or finding a better fit they didn't know existed. Either way, you don't sign up for the wrong system.

The migration path when you outgrow it

Many businesses start on Square because it's easy, then outgrow it within 12-24 months as their needs become more complex. When that happens, we're here to help you migrate to Clover, SkyTab, SpotOn, NRS, or whatever fits your next stage — without the data-loss headache of doing it alone.

Thinking about Square?

Tell us about your business. We'll help you decide if Square is the right fit, set it up properly, or point you toward a better option if there is one. Either way, you'll get honest advice — not a sales pitch for the wrong system.
